Track Your Student Aid with NSLDS
The U.S. Department of Education has a central database for student financial aid called the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) for Students. Use this integrated resource to track the Title IV federal loans (Stafford, PLUS, Grad PLUS, Consolidation, Perkins, etc.) and grants you have received to fund your education. (Note: Private loans are not included on NSLDS.) It will be particularly helpful if you have attended more than one school and/or borrowed from more than one lender or program.
Data is imported to NSLDS from schools, agencies that guaranty loans, lenders and other U.S. Department of Education programs. View student aid information including your loan and/or grant amounts, outstanding balances, loan statuses, and disbursements on the NSLDS Student Access website at www.nslds.ed.gov, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The site may be unavailable during brief periods while maintenance is performed.
To log in to the NSLDS Student Access website, you will be asked to provide your social security number, the first two digits of your last name, date of birth, and your Federal Student Aid PIN. This is the same PIN that you used for an e-signature when completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Lost your PIN? It can be retrieved, reestablished, or changed at www.pin.ed.gov.
Remember, log in to National Education's website for complete information about your student loan(s) that we service.
