Unemployment Deferment
An Unemployment Deferment may be obtained for a period of time when you are not working and are seeking a full-time position. If you obtained your FIRST loan before 7/1/1993, you are eligible for a maximum of two years of Unemployment Deferment. If you obtained your FIRST loan on or after 7/1/1993, you are eligible for a maximum of three years of Unemployment Deferment.
