Economic Hardship Deferment (HRD)
You may be able to obtain an Economic Hardship Deferment for a period of time when you are earning less than the minimum wage or 150% of the poverty level in your state applicable to the size of your family. An Economic Hardship Deferment is granted in 12-month increments, for a maximum of three years.
